Safety Jackets and Helmets for Work at Height

When workers are on the premises, their safety is a top priority. No matter what job you are running a site for, like a construction job, heavy machinery, or something else, the correct PPE is one of the major factors that can protect your workers, but it also helps to keep your site safe eventually.

We know that the difference in performance between a safety jacket and a helmet can have a major impact on not just how comfortable a worker is but also how compliant they are to the standards and, most importantly, how injury-free they will be. We have a collection of jackets with high reflectivity and safety helmets that combine the toughness of industrial safety and construction safety with the comfort of the user.

Why Should You Invest in Quality Safety Jackets and Helmets?

If you are operating in risk environments such as the application of heavy engineering PPE, manufacturing floor workwear, or at traffic control locations, you have to be the first to think about the safety and the well-being of your workers which is your company’s most crucial priority.

An appropriate reflective vest or hi-vis jacket guarantees visibility, thereby minimizing the chance of vehicle or machinery accidents in low-light conditions. Concurrently, a construction helmet or an industrial helmet gives protection against falling objects and head injuries. You should get a working environment of durable garments with breathable and waterproof qualities if you want to get compliance and better work performance without the need to compromise on safety.

Types of Safety Jackets We Offer

We carry out a full range of reflective safety jackets and safety vests that work well with all types of business environments, ranging from road construction and warehouse safety to outdoor work and airport ground crew operations.

  • Reflective Safety Jackets: We mainly focus on selling the reflective safety jackets in our core product line and come in bright colors like neon yellow and neon orange, together with materials that reflect light back at the light source, so you don’t need artificial light sources to see the jacket and can see the wearer up to 360°. Some of this safety clothing also conforms to ANSI 107 standards.
  • Weather-Resistant Jackets: We know that visibility remains a top concern when a worker is protected by waterproofing against harsh weather outdoors and also dust when in traffic control jobs. We are selling those kinds of materials as safety products that are waterproof, windproof, and dustproof at the level where a worker has to be visible at the same time.
  • Heavy-Duty Industrial Jackets: To handle the most challenging work environments, our heavy-duty industrial jackets are designed to be tough, long-lasting and will not go into disrepair, even in a high abrasion work environment giving you the best protection on the worksite.

Types of Safety Helmets That We Carry

One of the most important things any personal protective equipment (PPE) kit should provide is head protection. We do carry safety helmets from several reliable brands, so that you are able to choose the most suitable hard hat for the respective tasks.

  • Industrial Safety Helmets: The standard industrial helmets we carry are ISI marked (to meet both IS 2923 & BIS standards) and are made of durable HDPE or ABS materials. With the ratchet system, the user is able to make the adjustments quickly and also keep the hat secure and not too tight for his or her head.
  • Full Brim Helmets: Frequent sun and rain are the biggest challenges to workers on a construction project or working outside. That is the very reason many have chosen to use our full brim helmets.
  • Peak Helmets: Shorter brim makes peak helmets lighter and they also allow better upward visibility, they are perfect work in tight places or mining safety.
  • Type II Helmets: If you work in an environment where side hit is a problem we have Type II helmets which protect you from injuries caused by the hits both at the top and from the sides.
  • Customizable Helmets: We can also print helmets for you and even help you to put company logo on helmet, which makes it easier to be recognized and look professional.

Complete PPE Set with Accessories

True industrial safety needs a multi-layered approach. Apart from your safety jacket and helmet, you may also need other pieces of equipment such as PPE accessories to cover up from the head down to the feet.

Our shop has these: safety gloves, goggles, ear muffs, respirators, safety shoes (including low ankle safety shoes), and fall protection harnesses. For your convenience and maximum benefit, look at our PPE kits and combo sets, that contain essential items in one package, like the construction helmet set together with the safety gloves – a great way to save and still be fully equipped!

Questions and Answers Section (FAQs)

  1. Which type is better, a full brim helmet or a peak helmet for safety?

This depends on the kind of work you do. The full brim helmet has more protection for a person working in bright sunlight or under falling objects and a lot of rain. That’s why it is more suitable for a field worker or heavy engineering PPE worker.

The peak helmet is the ideal choice when a worker needs to carry out his activities in a confined space such as mining safety or oil and gas as its shorter brim allows the worker to have a better upward field of vision and its very light. Either way, they should be ISI certified and capable of basic impact resistance.

  1. What distinguishes a safety jacket from a safety vest?

A safety jacket is usually with a shirt-like sleeve whereas a safety vest is just a sleeveless article of clothing and in general it is less bulky and cooler.

So, for instance, a person working in a warehouse may want to put on a safety vest but if he goes out onto a site he probably will not only carry a helmet and gloves but also a safety jacket. High visibility is the major common feature of them both.

  1. How do I know if a safety helmet is ISI certified?

Check if the ISI logo (an “ISI” symbol accompanied by a certification number) is engraved or printed on the helmet shell. You should also find the relevant BIS standards, like IS 2923, for the industrial safety helmet.

This certification shows the helmet has successfully been subjected to very strict tests to impact protection and penetration resistance as stated.

  1. Is it possible to get safety helmets and jackets customised with a company logo?

Yes! We specialize in all sorts of custom branding solutions for both safety jackets as well as helmets. Jacket logo embroidery is a service we offer with a helmet’s logo printing. It is a wonderful way to establish corporate safety uniforms and to get your team more professionally dressed.

  1. What is a typical price range of a safety jacket together with a helmet?

The costs of the safety jacket and helmet depend quite a bit on the choice of material, extra features and brand. It is perfectly possible to purchase a basic quality set of safety gear with both helmet and vest for less than Rs.500. However, top-range industrial jackets with 3M reflective tape and Type II helmet can obviously be much more expensive. We do have several ranges to suit different budgets and needs.

  1. What are the major safety regulations governing high-visibility jackets?

On top of those from other countries, the main regulating documents to be compiled within India are ANSI 107 and EN ISO 20471. These classification standards define what level of visibility is expected. Pick jackets that mention the class (for example, Class 2 or Class 3) together with displaying fluorescent shades and retro-reflective materials so that the outfit is clearly visible from all around.
